Programme Highlights

The main theme of the 30th Annual Seminar is "Geotechnical Aspects of Deep Excavation". The Seminar aims at bringing together experts on research and study, design, construction and performance review of deep excavation.

Registration Fee

Registration fee is HK$700; applications received on or before 15th April 2010 will be qualified for an early bird rate of HK$600. Participants from the Mainland, Taiwan, Macau and Overseas will enjoy a special rate of HK$300. Full-time students are eligible for a student rate of HK$200 (student seats are limited to 50). Registration will include a copy of the Proceedings and coffee breaks (lunch not provided). The seminar is designed for one CPD day. Attendance certificate will be provided after the event.

Registration can be made by returning the completed registration form, which can be downloaded from here and the registration fee by a crossed cheque (made payable to "The HKIE - Geotechnical Division") to Ir Tony Cheung, AECOM, 20/F, Tower 2, Grand Central Plaza, 138 Shatin Rural Committee Road, Shatin, New Territories, Hong Kong. Letters of confirmation will be sent, together with a receipt of payment and details of the programme one week before the seminar. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation will be accepted only in writing with signature via mail or fax, no later than 30th April 2010, and only 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. Replacement of seat is allowed.
