HKIE GEOTECHNICAL DIVISION STUDENT PRIZE

The HKIE Geotechnical Division Prize aims to award students for attaining good performance in geotechnical subjects in completing the civil engineering undergraduate course in Universities in Hong Kong. Each winning student will receive a cash award of HK$5,000 and a certificate of appreciation.

Best Final-year Geotechnical Project Awards

The Best Final-year Geotechnical Project Award aims to recognize the efforts of final year students of local universities on their final year geotechnical projects. Nominations for the awards were invited from the Department of Civil Engineering of The University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, Department of Civil & Structural Engineering of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Department of Building and Construction of The City University of Hong Kong.
The prize is an annual award for final year students studying engineering degrees in local university. The winner will be awarded HK$6,000 and the first runner-up and second runner-up will be awarded HK$4,000 and HK$2,000 respectively.
